WANTED

You should know.
A couple of weeks a go, when the post "Follow us" came out, we were going high on trichlorethylene (which frankly we're not suggesting if you don't want to have visions by night and nose bleeding) and finally, after fighting the last symptoms of schizophrenia, they are ready.

Ora, riprendetevi, so che vi state dimenando sulla sedia urlando sguaiatamente "LA VOGLIO", ma se vi calmate ve lo diciamo.
Ok, cosi.
Bene.

Now, I know it's a lot to take in and you're probably going crazy from your chair, screaming "I WANT IT" and stuff, but if you could just chill for a second we're gonna tell you.
Ok, there you go.
Fine.

Marina's Sketchbook

We're always interested in other people's projects.
It's almost an obsession, it's all about "who did what, how interesting, is it relevant or not". It's that feeling of respect/envy for those who are capable of something dazzling, whether they are or are not "competitors". We sensed that strongly in Four Lines, so we decided to accept those feelings and make it a healthy habit. Online we can find tons of interesting material, but it seems to be impossible to know something about the person behind the work, as if it was a picture with no credits. The undergrowth of creatives who feed this infinity of links is what we're looking foward to know, little by little.

So we asked Marina to send us her drawings, answer questions, write her to-do list.

Thesselle: Where did you study?
Marina: I graduated in Communication's Design from Politecnico di Milano, with a european exchange in France that has been kind of a turnover in terms of life changing experience. After graduating I got into a type design course and that's what I would like to do for now.

T: What is your occupation at the moment?
M: I'm working in a graphic design studio in Milan. I do a little bit of everything, the most interesting thing is probably tha packaging.

T: What do you usually drink?
M: analcoholic, water and coffee. Alcoholic, I passionately go for white wine and vodkalemon.

T: Did you have a trauma?
M: I don't think so. I can't stand the blood view, but i don't know if is it based n a trauma.

T: What is it your addiction?
M: If you mean that as a drug, it's the opinion (and approval) of those who I care about.

kids

After writing about it, the “list of stuff to do” has been hunting us. Determined to appear in every conversation, even just to be mentioned, it has been bouncing between the two of us for days, in need to be vented, butchered and revolted in real life, just like a dream keeps coming back until you face it in reality.

So we decided to incorporate, every now and then, some space for it, defining the voices, those fatidic things, the stuff to do before the years pass by leaving no notice.
So this time we will talk about

- skating

Not that we never actually got on a plank. I guess we could say we wanted to go deeper, we wanted to be one of these kids who grinds and does tricks but we were lazy.
We still are.
Plus, you need to get over the fear of falling. Because if you want to be good at it, you will leave elbows and knees on the ground, or at least the skin upon them. The asphalt dig trough your flesh aiming for the joints if you're determined to become a pro. You know you are one when the crusts get better.
But most of the people doesn't put enough effort and gives up, just for the fear of falling. Of being hurt, even if it's only superficial.
In fact, we've been sitting on the ground all afternoon, taking picture of those who are willing to be hurt, in front of the central station. We are perfectly aware of the fact that we're not gonna pursuit skating, not today, not tomorrow.

So we're just gonna draw a line on this voice.
